Remedial massage at The Disability Foundation
Remedial massage uses a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, pressure points and other advanced methods to work deeply on muscles. It is much firmer in touch than a therapeutic massage.
Why choose a remedial massage?
Remedial massage is useful if you have specific part of the body that needs working on or if an individual wants a firm, deep massage. It is useful in dealing with specific muscular problems, loss of muscle tone and adhesions and removing physical tension in the muscles. It helps speed up circulation and eliminate toxins which can cause pain and stiffness. It can also improve skin's elasticity and break down fatty tissue. It is particularly helpful in the treatment of frozen shoulders, neurasthenia, accidental injuries, sprains and strains as well as post pregnancy and post surgery.
